We currently own two IBM e326 Servers one collocated here in Miami and the other in Kentucky. Both servers are AMD Opteron based with 16GB PC3200 400MHz ECC DDR SDRAM and Ultra320 SCSI hard disk drives for HTTP and Database and SATA 300 for eMail. During 2008 we were not down for more then a minute at any given time and were never down during Katrina or any other hurricanes that affected the region. For mission critical events we employ external DNS service that allows us to seamlessly swap duties between the Miami and Kentucky Data Centers in the event of an emergency.
